In translation

In the past there have been many licensed versions. Sadly the current position is that overseas publishers are reluctant to pay for new translations, except for very big bestselling books. This is horrible for professional translators – and no use where I have readers who are eager for more titles. My agents keep encouraging, but we cannot force the issue. However, some publishers are licensing old versions in editions that did not previously exist, such as ebooks or even audiobooks.

Countries where there have been past editions include: Estonia, Greece, Holland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia & Montenegro, Russia, Sweden and Turkey.

Currently licensed, mainly for reissues, are:

Dotbooks. Dotbooks are also to produce an e-book bundle (2023) called WIR, DIE FRAUEN DER EWIGEN STADT, which includes The Course of Honour (Die Gefährtin des Kaisers).
