Historical Novelist
On the screen
Film rights to all my books currently reside with me.
A film called The Age of Treason was made in Hollywood, ostensibly of The Silver Pigs, though who would know?
Next, the BBC optioned the entire Falco series on what seemed decent terms, but they bought another series instead.
Mammoth Screen had a ten-year option to develop the Falco series for TV. Despite being given the go-ahead at one point, it never happened.
Will Falco or Albia ever reach the screen in my lifetime? Will any of my standalones? Who knows. I still believe it should be possible. But I also believe that my books are loved because of the way they are written; there is no point in any attempt that ignores their values and originality.
